Yacht Charter in Times of Covid-19
Most borders are closed worldwide, activity and interaction is heavily restricted in most countries. Right now, unless you're already on board your yacht it's near impossible to charter in most countries. You can however still book charters for future trips with the protection of a Covid-19 related addendum which we have to hand.
We are currently assisting clients in the planning and education phase of booking their next trip. "It's a great opportunity, while many of our customers are finding themselves with a little extra time on their hands, to really do the research and learn about the destinations they wish to visit."
Charters are now being booked with free cancellation clauses and the addendum to the contract protects the charterer from any cancellation due to Covid-19 related restrictions. If you book your charter and further problems arise from the current Pandemic making it impossible for you to travel to meet your yacht, the trip can be cancelled and all fees refunded. Or you can work with your charter broker to postpone the trip to another time.
We have endless resources to assist our clients in deciding which vessel and where is best for them. It's a fun and creative process for our team and clients working together on completely unique and special adventures.
Sample itineraries to hand and years of experience cruising all of the major charter destinations in the world as well as many of the most remote locations on the planet puts our charter team in a great position to tailor create the best journey for you.
If you'd like to go over some options for your next trip please don't hesitate to give us a call.
For our New Zealand based clients we will be contacting you soon with some fun offers exploring our own big blue backyard once Level 4 and 3 restrictions are eased.
In the meantime, stay safe, stay strong and give us a call if you'd like to learn more about your yacht charter options.
