New Zealand's Largest New Build: The Beast Nears Completion

New Zealand's largest current new build,  THE BEAST has relocated from the build yard - Profab Engineering in Palmerston North to Foxton beach.

THE BEAST is due to be completed and available for charter through 37South by June 2019 in New Zealand and the South Pacific

Hull and superstructure were transported separately and have now been welded together. Final touches are being made before sea trials begin.

An expedition yacht of dramatic proportions, THE BEAST has a total interior volume of 493 GRT, 39.5m in length and a12m beam. She has accommodation for 12 guests and 10 crew.

THE BEAST's interior and deck facilities will include every luxury and refinement expected of a superyacht with the addition of some game changing abilities for a yacht of this length. Some of the features include extended range for remote cruising, a 13m fully equipped game fishing vessel carried on deck, and a 9m amphibious tender.

From the ex-owner of the award-winning Alloy Yachts built - VvS1, THE BEAST has similar accents with its stout exterior and promises to be a serious asset to the South Pacific Charter Market.

The ultimate vessel for all kinds of adventure. From specialised diving and fishing charters, exploration and research missions, to accessing and exploring remote atolls, THE BEAST is set to be prepared for anything.
